What a nice day to start this blog!

Let me tell you a bit more about myself!
I was born in France in 1981, and grew up in Valence. I studied Visual Communication in Lyon before moving to Arles to learn 3D Animation at Supinfocom. I moved to London
where I changed career to become a Flame artist for TV commercial. I lived there for 6 years and then moved to Amsterdam.
My mother was an art teacher and she always encouraged me to draw. My first influence was the animation studio based in Valence called " Folimage", where I've discovered
the work of Michael Dudok De Wit " le moine et l'oiseau ", Jean-Luc Gréco & Catherine Buffat with the film " La bouche cousue ", and so many other amazing artists.
I was a big fan of the movie " Nightmare before Christmas ", which I watched probably a hundred times. Few years later I discovered the work of the Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara which really inspired me to push forward with my illustrations.
I still use pencils for sketches, but I mainly draw everything digitally. I like to focus on textures and colors, with more emphasis on the latter.I enjoy working while listening to French radio, riding my bakfiets through the city gives me the opportunity to have some time to look around and get inspired, which can be a bit dangerous when I'm too deep into my thoughts!
